Morning/afternoon elephant sanctuary

Make a half-day visit to the Phuket Elephant Care sanctuary where these gentle giants are allowed to live their final years roaming freely in a lush, tropical area with a big natural lake without being forced to work. Walk with the elephants through green forest area, make a spa treatment, bath them in the big pool and pepare healthy herb balls.

Pickup by minivan from your hotel in Phuket
07:30 - 07:45 am.

Check-in at Phuket Elephant Care in Naithon and enjoy coffee and tea including bread and some snacks
07:45 - 08:00 am.

Get an introduction in advanced ECO tourism from our nature-loving tour guides
08:00 - 09:00 am.

Learn how to make rice the local way, and prepare fruits, vegetables and healthy herbal balls for the elephants
09:00 - 09:30 am.

Feed the elephants with seasonal fruits
09:30 - 09:45 am.

Scrub their skin with mud and join them taking a bath in a small river
09:45 - 10:00 am.

Rinse off the mud in a large pond including a rain shower
10:00 - 10:30 am.

Enjoy an authentic Thai style lunch with home-made Thai snacks

Paint your own small magnetic elephant which you can take home as souvenir

Return back to your hotel
